Theater For Hope is gearing up for their summer production of the musical, Seussical July 6,7,8 and would like to invite everyone to mark their calendars for this family-friendly production.
"Oh, the Places You'll Go! "is a book written and illustrated by children's author Dr. Seuss. It was first published by Random House on January 22, 1990. It was his last book to be published during his lifetime. The book concerns the journey of life, its challenges and joys. In this book, Theodor Geisel, aka Dr. Seuss states: “You're off to Great Places!
Today is your day!
Your mountain is waiting,
So... get on your way!”
Now one of the most performed shows in America, Seussical is a fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza! Tony winners, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (Lucky Stiff, My Favorite Year, Once on This Island, Ragtime), have lovingly brought to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie and a little boy with a big imagination – Jojo. The colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos. Seussical is fun for the whole family! Performers of all ages will be excited to portray the characters from the familiar Dr. Seuss fables.
